A computer problem has caused a lengthy suspension of rail operations between Amsterdam and other parts of the Netherlands.

According to an announcement by the Dutch railway operator NS on the morning of June 5, a computer problem has paralyzed the railway traffic system since 6 p.m. on June 4 (local time) and is still affecting international trains to Amsterdam, as the problem has not been resolved.
NS admitted that "This disruption has a major impact not only on the railway industry, but also on other sectors of the country." According to ANP news agency, about 100 passengers were stranded at Utrecht Central Station on the evening of June 4.
NS has not yet assessed how long this incident will last. According to the company, railway operations will be temporarily suspended until at least the afternoon of June 5.
