Division 316 is the main, fully-staffed, mobile unit of Military Region 2, with the political mission of training center, combat readiness and performing assigned sudden tasks. In practice, officers and soldiers of the Division regularly participate in search and rescue, help people overcome the consequences of natural disasters, perform tasks in harsh weather conditions, in remote areas, places with high risk of accidents, injuries, far from medical facilities.

To equip the soldiers with knowledge and professional skills to handle situations promptly and effectively from the first minutes, taking advantage of the "golden time" to rescue victims and teammates in unexpected situations that may occur during the performance of tasks, organizing first aid training for officers and soldiers is very necessary. Therefore, the training course is organized to improve the capacity to handle accident situations for officers and soldiers in the actual performance of tasks.

Overview of the training session.

Within the framework of the training session, the team of experts and doctors from Hung Vuong General Hospital and Wellbeing Health Education Organization conveyed key contents on first aid skills, including: Safely approaching victims; cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques; handling foreign body aspiration in the airways... Trainees were guided by a model team and practiced directly on a visual model to master the standard first aid procedures and operations according to current medical recommendations.

Through training, officers, professional staff, non-commissioned officers and soldiers of the Division have consolidated their knowledge and practiced initial handling skills in emergency care for accidents in various situations, contributing to ensuring good military medical work, meeting the requirements of health care for soldiers in performing training tasks and combat readiness.
