According to the Management Board of Ngu Hanh Son relic site, the recent recognition by UNESCO as a documentary heritage is a favorable condition to continue implementing promotional activities to restore the number of tourists to the pre-pandemic period (in 2019, this place welcomed 2.1 million visitors, of which more than 1.3 million were foreign visitors, earning a budget of more than 85 billion VND from ticket sales and organizing activities).
Mr. Ha Vy, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Da Nang City, commented that the interesting point of the Ngu Hanh Son stele, in addition to many versions praising the beauty of this scenic spot, many versions can be considered as accurate historical data reflecting the cultural , economic and social exchange relationship of Asian countries when Hoi An was still a major trading port in the region.
This is truly a thread of the past for Chinese and Japanese tourists to seek out.
When viewing the stele of the Linh Trung Phat Pho Da Son on Thuy Son mountain, many Chinese visitors read the inscriptions on the stone stele and were interested to know that this stele was erected more than 300 years ago.
