Dedicated to ensuring security and order at the facility

Having joined the commune police force in 2014, for over 10 years, with his love for the profession and dedication to his work, Mr. Ha Phuc Toan, born in 1971, Head and Police Officer of Dong Bong area, Van Luong commune, Tan Son district, has overcome difficulties and excellently fulfilled his duties, contributing to ensuring security and order in the locality.

The Dong Bong area currently has 72 households with 342 inhabitants, over 94% of whom are Muong ethnic people. The people here mainly cultivate tea, with some households having more than 4 hectares and others 2-3 thousand square ^meters . Therefore, the lives of the people are still somewhat difficult, with a poverty rate of 65% and a rate of culturally exemplary households of 70%. To date, with an average income of 24-25 million VND per person per year, the lives of the people have gradually improved.

As a particularly disadvantaged area in Van Luong commune, the uneven level of education among the population makes disseminating policies and guidelines challenging. Therefore, as the Head of the Dong Bong area and a police officer, Mr. Ha Phuc Toan always recognizes that ensuring security and order in his area requires the support and assistance of the people. He regularly presides over community meetings to promote and encourage people to effectively implement the Party and State's policies and laws; he encourages people to change their farming practices, apply science and technology to production, and develop the economy and reduce poverty. He frequently reminds residents to be vigilant against crime, comply with traffic laws, refrain from drinking alcohol, and wear helmets while driving.

Mr. Toán himself, in his work in the area, always upholds a high sense of responsibility, regularly stays close to the locality, thoroughly understands the factors and characteristics of the population, listens to the opinions and aspirations of the people, and proactively advises the Head of the Commune Police to develop plans to effectively combat various types of crime and maintain political security and social order.

In addition, they regularly strengthen and improve the quality of self-governing groups, building movements such as: "All citizens protect national security" linked with "All citizens unite to build a cultured life"; learning about the law; managing and educating children in the family to prevent crime and social vices; women's groups not participating in social vices; "3 no's, 3 reductions"...

In 2018, due to the impact of storms, a person drowned in the neighboring commune of Long Coc. Immediately after receiving the information, he promptly mobilized local forces along with residents in the Dong Bong area to assist in searching for the victim in the stream.

For his achievements in ensuring local security and order, and his unwavering spirit in rescuing people during storms, Mr. Ha Phuc Toan was awarded a Certificate of Commendation by the Provincial Police and many other awards from the local government.

With the trust of the people, the support of comrades and colleagues in his work, and the attention and guidance of the local Party committee and government, Anh Toán has demonstrated a sense of responsibility and supported the local police force in maintaining security and order in the area.
