Strengthening security and order at Mong Cai border gate area

On March 31, information from Mong Cai City Party Committee ( Quang Ninh ) said that the unit has just directed the functional agencies on duty at Mong Cai International Border Gate to strengthen security and order; in which, strictly implementing the culture of queuing when doing procedures; especially not allowing 0-dong tours to reoccur in the area.

Mong Cai border gate recently welcomed tens of thousands of people completing immigration procedures; most of them were Chinese tourists.

According to the Mong Cai City Party Committee, from the beginning of 2024 until now, at Mong Cai International Border Gate, the situation of trade and immigration has been quite bustling.

To stabilize the situation at the border gate, Mong Cai City Party Committee directed the forces of the border gate management board; border guards; and customs to coordinate to strictly handle situations that cause disorder and insecurity; maintain the culture of queuing, especially the carrying of goods by border residents, the transport of bulky goods, smuggled goods, and protection of illegal money collection...

Mong Cai City Party Committee requires functional forces at the border gate to ensure order and maintain a culture of queuing during the procedure process.

Also according to Mong Cai City Party Committee, as of March 31, the total weight of imported and exported goods through Mong Cai International Border Gate reached 283,936 tons, with a total import and export turnover of 668.12 million USD, an increase of 36.23% over the same period in 2023. The total number of enterprises completing procedures was 519, an increase of 148 enterprises over the same period in 2023. The total number of people entering and exiting the country through the border gate reached 1,682,414, an increase of 1,016.2% over the same period in 2023.

Chinese tourists flock to Quang Ninh recently
