Strengthening tax management for business households

Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just issued an official dispatch on implementing tax management for business households.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee requests provincial departments, branches, sectors, units, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities, according to their assigned functions and tasks, to closely coordinate with tax authorities to propose solutions to strengthen tax management for business households, ensuring that all actual business households operating in the area are fully managed, avoiding losses in terms of subjects and business revenue. In particular, focusing on solutions on applying information technology in the management process, publicizing and making transparent tax management information for business households on the Business Household Digital Map function. At the same time, deploying to review subjects in the area, organizing surveys of actual revenue of business households, focusing on key industries of business households in the area; thereby having a basis to establish a set of lump-sum taxes in 2024 for business households to ensure closeness to reality.

In addition, actively review and standardize tax registration information of business owners to ensure synchronization of tax data with the national population database, moving towards using personal identification codes instead of tax codes according to the Project on developing applications of population data, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period of 2022 - 2025, with a vision to 2030.

Strengthening the dissemination and popularization of basic digital skills for people and business households (accessing and using the internet, email, online shopping, using electronic invoices, electronic payments, electronic tax registration, electronic tax declaration, electronic tax payment, electronic tax refund, using online public services and ensuring personal information security) including looking up and responding to information on the Business Household Digital Map function of the tax authority to help people and business households fully participate in the digital transformation roadmap according to the Government 's orientation.
