The program took place on November 17, at the headquarters of the Consulate General of Vietnam in Osaka , with the participation of Mr. Ngo Trinh Ha - Consul General of Vietnam in Osaka; Mr. Pham Tan Hoa - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province; leaders of departments, branches and sectors of the province, and the participation of more than 150 Japanese and Vietnamese enterprises.
Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Pham Tan Hoa - Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee emphasized: Japan has always been one of the province's leading important partners. Currently, Tay Ninh province has 176 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects of Japanese enterprises, with a total investment capital of more than 1.26 billion USD, ranking 4th out of 40 countries and territories with investment projects in Tay Ninh.

The Vice Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee hopes that in the coming time, cooperation, trade and investment activities will continue to be enhanced, especially in priority areas such as high-tech industry, energy, logistics, digital transformation, renewable energy and smart urban development. Tay Ninh is committed to being a safe, attractive and sustainable destination for Japanese investors, especially enterprises and corporations from the Kansai region.
At the Conference, Vietnamese Consul General in Osaka Ngo Trinh Ha said: Kansai is the leading economic and industrial development region in Japan, gathering many large corporations and high-tech enterprises. Therefore, Tay Ninh's expansion of cooperation here will open up many new investment opportunities. Mr. Ngo Trinh Ha affirmed that the Consulate General will continue to accompany and support the province in connecting, promoting and implementing effective cooperation projects between the two sides.

The Vietnam-Japan Economic Cooperation Promotion Association and the Tay Ninh Department of Industry and Trade signed a cooperation agreement to promote investment and trade connections and support businesses of the two countries.

The agreement will facilitate support for Japanese investors to survey the business environment, promote new projects and expand cooperation in the industrial supply chain.
Within the framework of the event, Kobe Port and Long An International Port also signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation, aiming to enhance logistics capacity, expand shipping routes and strengthen the supply chain between the two countries.

Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee Pham Tan Hoa presented the "Community Bookcase" to Cay Tre Vietnamese Language School.
In addition to the economic-trade-investment content, the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province also paid special attention to the Vietnamese community in Japan. At the ceremony, the province presented the "Vietnamese Bookshelf" to the Vietnamese community in Kansai, contributing to preserving the mother tongue, spreading Vietnamese culture and strengthening the connection between local authorities and overseas Vietnamese.
