On September 17, within the framework of a working visit to Greece, a working delegation from the State Treasury, Ministry of Finance led by Mr. Luu Hoang, Head of Treasury Management Department, visited and worked at the Vietnamese Embassy in Greece.
Speaking at the meeting, comrade Luu Hoang, head of the State Treasury delegation, thanked the Vietnamese Embassy for supporting the delegation's activities during the working trip.
During the visit from September 16-21, the delegation will have working sessions with the Greek Public Debt Management Agency and the Central Bank of Greece to exchange and share information on public debt structure, learn from Greece's experience in public debt management, capital mobilization and government bond portfolio management, risk analysis and management, investor development, coordination between state treasury management, government bond capital mobilization and monetary policy management....

Sharing about the delegation's working content, Ambassador Pham Thi Thu Huong said that in recent times, Greece has had policies in handling public debt, tax policies, and policies to promote domestic and foreign resources for development.
The fact that for the first time the State Treasury delegation officially had an exchange activity with the Greek side will help create the premise for closer cooperation in the coming time between the two countries' professional agencies, contributing to making the Vietnam-Greece relationship more effective and substantive, especially in 2025 when the two countries celebrate the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations.
Over the past 50 years, the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Greece has continuously developed well. The special affection of the Greek people for Vietnam and the similarities in history and culture are the basis for the two countries to continue promoting cooperation in the coming time.
