Giving savings books to orphans on the occasion of International Children's Day June 1

On the occasion of International Children's Day June 1, the Thanh Thuy District Women's Union implemented the Godmother program - Giving a savings book worth 30 million VND to Phung Nhu Phuong in Zone 22, Hoang Xa Commune and coordinated with the District Education and Training Department to give a savings book worth 30 million VND to Hoang Cao Loc in Zone 15, Dong Trung Commune. Both children are orphans and are being adopted by the heads of the Women's Unions in the residential areas where they live.

Leaders of the District Women's Union, the Department of Education and Training and local authorities presented savings books and gifts to orphans in Hoang Xa commune.

Also at the program, the District Women's Union presented 5 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to orphans in Hoang Xa and Dong Trung communes. The total value of the program was 62.5 million VND.

Through these activities, the community has shown their love, care and sharing for orphans. This is a source of encouragement to help them have more motivation to strive to be good, study well and strive for a brighter tomorrow.
