The Vietnam International Baking Exhibition 2025 (VIBS 2025), currently being held at SECC in Ho Chi Minh City and running until December 13th, is attracting the latest technologies from the international baking industry.
According to reports, VIBS 2025, despite being a specialized exhibition, attracted a large number of visitors. The booths consistently featured activities showcasing new baking technologies, allowing visitors to experience trending cakes on the market, and admire the skillful baking techniques of international experts.
The organizers said this year's event brings together nearly 200 booths from 120 participating units, from 12 countries and territories, including: Vietnam, Taiwan (China), Hong Kong (China), Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Japan, South Korea, France...
The event also provided a comprehensive overview of the baking industry, encompassing all aspects from machinery, automated production equipment, premium raw materials, packaging technology to finished products and supply chain management solutions from companies, raw material suppliers, baking equipment manufacturers, chefs, and baking enthusiasts across Vietnam.
Many domestic businesses have taken advantage of this opportunity to access the most advanced production technologies and diversify their imported raw material sources. In addition, experts, manufacturers, and investors have come together to discuss, trade, and build sustainable development strategies for the Vietnamese confectionery industry in the future.
Mr. Yi-Wen Chen, Chairman of the Taiwan Bakery Association, assessed that in recent years, the Vietnamese bakery industry has made impressive progress, with continuous technological improvements, product innovation, and increasing market demand, demonstrating great potential for the future.
These advancements also reflect global trends that are reshaping the world's baking industry.

As a key economy in Southeast Asia, the Vietnamese confectionery market has achieved an average growth rate of over 10% in recent years, with demand for high-quality ingredients and smart equipment increasing by 18% annually.
Combination models like "cake + coffee" are gaining strong popularity, clearly demonstrating the market's great potential and drawing more attention to Vietnam from international bakers. These advancements also reflect global trends reshaping the world's baking industry.
Of particular note within the exhibition were two competitions themed "Cakes as Souvenirs," offering insightful perspectives on the development and market of souvenirs. These competitions aimed to promote the development of confectionery products that reflect Vietnamese cultural identity, with the goal of creating internationally recognized souvenir gifts.
