Create an environment for members to practice and strive to join the Party.

To supplement the youth force for the Party organization, Bac Yen District Youth Union has widely deployed movements, promoting the pioneering, voluntary and creative role of youth in building and defending the Fatherland, contributing to training and creating a source of introductions for the Party to consider and admit.

With her efforts and hard work during her school years, Nguyen Thi Phuong Hien, a 12th grader at Bac Yen High School, is one of three outstanding members of the school who were honored to be admitted to the Party. Hien shared: Through the movements and activities of the Union, it has created an environment for me to have the opportunity to practice, contribute and mature. Being admitted to the Party at the age of 18 is an honor for me and my family, and it is also a great motivation for me to be determined, to strive to study, practice, be a pioneer and be exemplary in all activities.

The work of developing Party members who are high school students is considered one of the important tasks, finding positive factors, creating sources of Party membership, strengthening the youth and fighting strength of the Party. Teacher Pham Duc Manh, Vice Principal of Bac Yen High School, said: The school's Party Committee always considers the training and admission of excellent students to the Party as one of the important political tasks. Along with good teaching and good learning, the school regularly organizes movement activities, club activities, and useful political activities. Thereby, creating an environment for students to cultivate, practice, promote their own abilities, and form the consciousness to strive to become Party members.

To form ideals and motivations to strive to join the Party for young union members, grassroots union organizations have strengthened political and ideological education and propaganda, organized political activities "Vietnamese youth proudly march under the Party's flag", forums "Party with youth, youth with the Party"; effectively implemented the campaign "Union members strive to become members of the Communist Party of Vietnam "; organized contests to learn about the Party's history and resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels...

The youth union organizations also undertake projects and tasks, participate in building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, "Volunteer Saturday towards new rural areas"; "Green Sunday"; volunteer activities for community life... In 2023, grassroots youth union organizations in the district will implement more than 30 projects and thousands of youth tasks with a total value of over 800 million VND. Coordinate and mobilize socialized resources of more than 1.5 billion VND to support the construction of happy houses, boarding houses, lighting lines; give gifts to poor households, policy families, union members, and disadvantaged youth; award scholarships to students with excellent academic achievements. Coordinate to support and effectively maintain collective economic models among youth, such as: Purchasing and processing medicinal herbs in Hang Chu commune; project to raise sturgeon and cold-water salmon in Hang Dong commune; raise black pigs in Chieng Sai commune; raise goats in Phieng Ban commune...

Ms. Hoang Thi Hue, Secretary of the District Youth Union, informed: Through organizing activities and movements, creating a favorable environment for young union members to study, practice, contribute and mature. Every year, the rate of union members accounts for more than 80% of the total number of party members admitted to the District Party Committee. In 2023, the District Youth Union introduced 198 outstanding union members for the Party to consider and train, of which 140 union members were admitted to the Party. Many union members, after being admitted, have promoted their roles and positions in various fields of activity, creating prestige with the Party Committee.

Party member Ha Thi Thu Thuy, Khoa village Party cell, Muong Khoa commune, proudly said: With my own efforts and the attention, guidance, and support of the Party cell and the village Youth Union, I am honored to join the Party. This is the motivation for me to follow the example of previous Party members, continue to uphold the spirit of responsibility, promote youth, actively work and produce, and contribute to the development of my homeland.

Striving to become a Party member, each Youth Union member must promote the highest spirit of vanguard, volunteerism, dynamism and creativity; actively study and practice to improve qualifications; enthusiastically participate in labor and production; proactively participate in activities organized and launched by the Union and Association. From there, strive to become an exemplary Union member, worthy of being in the Party's ranks.
