Vietnam Chemical Group signed a cooperation agreement with Robertet Group (UK) under the witness of General Secretary To Lam and the Government leadership delegation.

The Vietnam-UK High-Level Economic Conference with the theme “Towards a stronger partnership in finance, innovation and green development” took place solemnly on October 30, with the participation and direction of the leaders of the two countries during the official visit of General Secretary To Lam to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from October 28-30.

The conference brought together a large number of corporations, financial institutions, investors and businesses operating in the fields of energy, industry, finance and technology, aiming to promote economic cooperation and investment between Vietnam and the UK.

The delegation of Vietnam Chemical Group (Vinachem) led by Mr. Nguyen Huu Tu, General Director of the Group, together with leaders of a number of member units attended the Conference.

Vinachem's presence at the forum demonstrates the company's determination to promote international cooperation, technology transfer and green development, in line with the sustainable transformation strategy of Vietnam's chemical industry.

Notably, during the ceremony to hand over cooperation agreements witnessed by the leaders of the Party and State of the two countries, many memorandums of understanding and strategic agreements between Vietnamese and UK enterprises were signed. Among them, there was a cooperation agreement between Vinachem and Robertet Group.

The agreement focuses on research, development and technology transfer in the production of environmentally friendly chemicals, fragrances and materials.

This agreement marks a new development step in the cooperation relationship between the two sides, opening up opportunities to apply advanced British technology to Vinachem's green chemicals and consumer products sector, contributing to realizing the company's sustainable development goals.

Robertet is a world- leading corporation in the production of flavors, natural fragrances and environmentally friendly green materials. The corporation is currently a major, strategic partner of many Vinachem member units, including Lix Chemical Joint Stock Company and Hanoi Soap Joint Stock Company, and provides advanced technological solutions in the research and development of chemical and flavoring products.

The signing of the cooperation agreement between Vinachem and Robertet not only opens up opportunities to apply advanced green technology to the production of chemicals and consumer products, but also creates potential to promote trade development, expand international relations and bring new opportunities to the system of member companies.

This agreement contributes to enhancing competitiveness, promoting green transformation and innovation, while affirming Vinachem's commitment to leading the sustainable development of Vietnam's chemical industry and actively contributing to the country's socio-economic development.
