(Hochiminhcity.gov.vn) – On the morning of December 23, the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police organized an intensive training course on the Law and detailed regulations of some articles of the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety for officers and soldiers in the Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Police force.
Lieutenant Colonel Tran Trung Hieu – Head of the Traffic Police Department, delivered the opening remarks at the training course.
Accordingly, this training course lasted from December 23rd to 26th, 2024, with the participation of nearly 500 officers and soldiers representing the Command Board, officers and soldiers from the Traffic Police Department's Teams/Stations and the Traffic Police-Order Teams of the District and City Police Departments of Thu Duc; and representatives from the Command Boards of the Ward, Commune, and Town Police Departments in charge of public order.
The training program consists of 9 topics, specifically: Basic contents of the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety; New points in traffic accident statistics; New points in the investigation and resolution of road traffic accidents; Basic contents and new points of the Government Decree regulating the auction of automobile license plates; Circular regulating the issuance and revocation of registration and license plates for motor vehicles and specialized motorcycles; Circular regulating the operational procedures for issuing and revoking registration and license plates for motor vehicles and specialized motorcycles; Circular promulgating the National Technical Standard for vehicle license plates; Circular regulating the procedures, certification of technical safety and environmental protection quality for motor vehicles and specialized motorcycles imported, manufactured, assembled, modified, and the organization of technical safety and environmental protection inspection for automobiles and specialized motorcycles in the People's Police Force…
Overview of the Training Session
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Tran Trung Hieu – Head of the Traffic Police Department – emphasized that organizing and implementing the Law and detailed regulations on road traffic order and safety in a practical and effective manner is one of the key and continuous tasks of the Ho Chi Minh City Police in general and the City's Traffic Police force in particular in 2025 and the following years.
Lieutenant Colonel Tran Trung Hieu requested that trainees participating in the training be serious and actively engage in discussions and exchanges with the lecturers to clarify issues, thereby implementing them correctly in practice during their work, contributing to ensuring traffic safety, preventing and reducing traffic accidents and congestion in the city.
It is understood that, in addition to conveying the core content of legal documents in the field of traffic safety, the training sessions will also include time for speakers to discuss and address difficulties and obstacles arising during the implementation of the Law, ensuring that implementation is synchronized, unified, effective, and efficient. At the end of the training, participants will write a summary report to evaluate the training results.
