On June 6, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Department of Vehicles, General Department of Technology organized the opening of a training course on technical safety inspection and environmental protection of military motor vehicles in 2023 in the Southern region.
Attending the opening ceremony were Colonel Nguyen Que Lam, Deputy Director of the Department of Vehicles, General Department of Engineering; leaders of the Department of Engineering of Military Region 7; leaders of the Vietnam Register and 32 students who are officers and employees of the vehicle and motorbike industry of agencies and units of the entire military in the Southern region.

Lasting until June 16, the trainees were trained in the following contents: Introduction to legal documents on technical safety and environmental protection inspection of motorbikes in the Ministry of National Defense and documents guiding their implementation; Road Traffic Law 2008; contents and methods of technical safety and environmental protection inspection of motorbikes; civil motor vehicle registration; documents guiding inspection; instructions on the use of inspection equipment; introduction to software for managing inspection work.
Speaking at the opening of the training course, Colonel Nguyen Que Lam emphasized that, in response to the mission requirements, all military units are increasingly equipped with new vehicles and machines, so this training course has many new contents, aiming to ensure that after training, trainees can perform well the task of inspecting and testing military vehicles and inspecting the safety of civilian vehicles. Therefore, the Organizing Committee must prepare carefully in all aspects; the teaching team must impart knowledge and experience well to trainees, and organize the inspection and assessment correctly. The trainees actively studied and practiced to grasp the contents, regulations, and procedures for inspecting military vehicles, and skillfully used the inspection equipment on the inspection line, contributing to the inspection work at units and inspection centers quickly, effectively, safely, and in compliance with discipline.
