Equipping youth union members with knowledge on drug crime prevention and control

DNO - On the morning of October 25, at Thang An commune, the City Youth Union organized a training and propaganda conference on drug crime prevention and control for nearly 200 youth union members and students in the communes of Que Son Trung, Thang Dien, Thang An, Thang Truong, Duy Nghia, Dong Duong, Xuan Phu, Thang Binh, Thang Phu and Nam Phuoc.

At the conference, members were equipped with knowledge on crime prevention and drug abuse; the harmful effects of drugs on health, family and society; how to identify new drugs and drug precursors; and current criminal law provisions related to the act of storing, buying, selling and illegally transporting drugs.

The conference contributed to raising awareness and compliance with the law on crime and drug prevention and control; raising vigilance and skills in crime and drug prevention and mobilizing union members, youth and students to actively participate in denouncing crimes.

At the same time, support the authorities in preventing and combating crime and drug abuse. Thereby, contributing to ensuring social order and safety in the city.
