Project 8 "Implementing gender equality and solving urgent issues for women and children" under the national target program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, phase I (2021-2025) aims to raise awareness, change prejudices and gender stereotypes, care for material and spiritual life, protect and care for women and children, implement gender equality goals and focus on effectively solving a number of urgent issues for women and children in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
