As part of Project 8, "Implementing Gender Equality and Addressing Urgent Issues for Women and Children," the Quang Tri Provincial Women's Union organized a Training of Trainers (TOT) course on gender analysis and gender equality communication for provincial and district-level officials over two days, from June 4-5.

Project 8, "Implementing Gender Equality and Addressing Urgent Issues for Women and Children," is part of the National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Regions, Phase I (2021-2025). Its aim is to raise awareness, change gender stereotypes and biases, improve the material and spiritual well-being of women and children, protect and care for them, achieve gender equality goals, and effectively address several urgent issues facing women and children in ethnic minority and mountainous regions.

Overview of the training course
During the training course, participants were provided with knowledge and skills in gender analysis and gender equality communication, such as identifying communication objectives regarding gender equality, target audiences, and some principles to follow when communicating about gender equality.

Integrating gender perspectives into communication activities on gender equality; practicing the development of communication plans on gender equality. Providing guidance on organizing games to enhance gender awareness...
These are very practical knowledge and skills for gender equality workers in agencies, departments, and localities.
