The investment project to build the Tu Son Ward Cultural and Sports Center was approved by the Provincial People's Committee for a feasibility study report in 2018, with a total investment of more than 238 billion VND by the joint venture of Tat Thang Limited Liability Company and Thai Son Traffic Construction Joint Stock Company as investors in the form of Build - Transfer.
The project has a scale of: Construction of a stadium, a multi-purpose gymnasium combined with a children's sports area, an outdoor technical infrastructure system and auxiliary items according to the planning on a land area of over 175,000 m2. Implementation time is until the end of February 2025.

Up to now, the investor has basically completed the construction items, of which the stadium item has been inspected by the Department of Construction for acceptance and handover for use since April 2025. The value of the completed volume is about 210 billion VND. The project is facing difficulties because the implementation period has expired while the project feasibility study report adjustment and supplement documents are still under appraisal, so the implementation of the next contents has not been carried out. The investor recommends that the province direct the Department of Finance to speed up the appraisal of the adjusted feasibility study report documents and submit them to the province for approval as a basis for implementing the next steps.

At the meeting, delegates discussed a number of issues related to the project; at the same time, they agreed that the project needs to be extended by the Provincial People's Committee so that investors and functional units have a basis to carry out the next part of the work.
Concluding the meeting, Comrade Le Xuan Loi emphasized that this is one of the Build-Transfer projects that the province has implemented since the previous phase, aiming to attract capital sources outside the State budget to build urban infrastructure, improving the quality of life of the people. To overcome difficulties and soon complete the investment project to build the Tu Son Ward Cultural and Sports Center, he requested the investor to coordinate with relevant departments, branches and units to speed up the progress of the remaining work.
