The project has a total investment of nearly 900 billion VND, the construction investment scale includes 8 apartment buildings, each 8 floors high with a total of nearly 1,500 apartments; ensuring accommodation for nearly 2,300 workers.
At the groundbreaking ceremony, Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee Le Van Han affirmed that the social housing project in Hau Nghia New Urban Area not only solves the urgent housing needs for workers but also contributes to the formation of civilized, modern urban areas in harmony with infrastructure, services and environmental landscape. This is also a concrete step in realizing the Resolutions of the Party and Government on the development of social housing and workers' housing in Tay Ninh province; at the same time, affirming the determination and companionship of the government with businesses and people.
According to Mr. Nguyen Dung Minh, Deputy General Director of MIK Vietnam Group Joint Stock Company, the Green Nestera social housing project is built on the 20% land fund for social housing of Hau Nghia New Urban Area (Vinhomes Green City Hau Nghia).
The project is conveniently located, conveniently connected to Ho Chi Minh City and key areas of Tay Ninh province through major traffic routes such as: DT, 825, DT. 823, National Highway 1A and Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong Expressway. The investor and project developer are committed to coordinating with relevant units to implement on schedule, ensuring technical standards, so that the project becomes a social housing area with a stable and comfortable living environment and meets the expectations of future residents.
In order for the project to be put into operation soon, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province requested the investor and the construction unit to uphold the sense of responsibility, focus resources, implement on schedule, ensure quality and absolute labor safety. At the same time, departments, branches and local authorities must continue to accompany, promptly remove difficulties, and create the most favorable conditions for the project to be completed soon.
According to the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province, in order to implement the Government's goal of investing in the construction of at least 1 million social housing apartments for low-income people and industrial park workers in the period of 2021 - 2030, the province has approved the Social Housing Development Project for the period up to 2025, with a vision to 2030. In which, the current situation, needs and orientation of locations and areas for social housing development in the period up to 2030 have been identified, with the goal of completing 83,100 apartments.
Tay Ninh province has planned 79 land plots, with a scale of more than 598 hectares for social housing development. These planning locations basically meet the province's social housing development needs until 2030. Of which, up to now, 32 social housing projects have been approved for investment, expected to be completed in the 2025-2030 period, with a total area of more than 241 hectares, equivalent to more than 47,100 apartments; 11 projects have been completed with a construction scale of 4,358 apartments; many projects are under construction.
Along with that, relevant units and localities in the province are focusing on reviewing and urging investors to complete procedures to approve investment policies; organizing construction commencement to complete the set goals and targets. Thereby, contributing to the whole country to complete the goal of developing 1 million social housing units, meeting the housing needs of workers and low-income laborers in the area.
