Vietnam National Administration of Tourism said that Ban Gioc waterfall in Dam Thuy commune - Trung Khanh district - Cao Bang province, was recently named by international travel magazine Travel+Leisure as one of the 21 most beautiful waterfalls in the world .

According to Travel+Leisure, walking to admire the natural wonders of the world is truly an experience worth taking.

“It's hard to explain exactly why waterfalls are so mesmerizing, but there's no denying their impressiveness,” the magazine said.

There are countless breathtaking waterfalls all over the world. From those considered the biggest, tallest, or most powerful to lesser-known waterfalls with attractive “swimming pools” at their base, Travel+Leisure has selected 21 of the most beautiful and stunning waterfalls in the world to introduce to visitors.

From a height of over 60m with the longest slope of 30m, large volumes of water from Ban Gioc waterfall pour down from the top of the waterfall through many layers of rock, flowing like soft white silk strips winding between the immense green of the mountains and forests, and then creating a white mist of water like clouds in the sky.

Surrounding Ban Gioc waterfall is a beautiful natural landscape, fresh and cool air with green grass carpets, primeval forests and a diverse and rich ecosystem of flora and fauna.
