According to Siam Sports (Thailand), citing SAT's statement: " SAT welcomes and is ready to receive all constructive and goodwill criticism. SAT is also ready to adjust and improve so that the organization of this SEA Games meets the highest international standards."

However, SAT affirms that it will take strong action against criticisms and criticisms of SAT's activities that are based on false information, distorted from reality, or have offensive content that damages the reputation of this organization and affects the spirit and motivation of its staff.

SAT said it will take legal action against those involved, including disciplinary action, civil lawsuits and criminal prosecution, depending on the case.

According to SAT, these legal measures are intended to protect the honor and reputation of the organization.

In the past time, although the 33rd SEA Games has not officially started, the host Thailand has made many mistakes. These include confusing the national flags of the countries, audio errors causing the U22 teams of Vietnam and Laos to sing the national anthem without permission, slow processing of reporters' press cards...

This has caused the SEA Games Organizing Committee to receive many strong reactions and criticisms from the public. This is also a favorable "environment" for many fake and distorted information related to the organization of the SEA Games to appear.
