Thai Nguyen towards the first Provincial Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front Delegates

With the motto 'Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Creativity - Development', the Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thai Nguyen province for the 2025-2030 term is an important political event, affirming the core role of the Fatherland Front in building the great national unity bloc, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress.

The first Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thai Nguyen province, term 2025-2030, will be held over 2 days; the first session on the afternoon of November 11 and the solemn session on the morning of November 12, at the Provincial Cultural Center Hall.

With the theme: "Promoting the core political role of the Fatherland Front in building the great national unity bloc; actively participating in building a strong Party and political system, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term", the Congress aims for the motto of action: "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Creativity - Development."

The Congress is expected to have 350 official delegates representing all walks of life, member organizations and outstanding individuals in the province; along with about 150 invited delegates, including representatives of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, National Assembly Delegation of the province, departments, branches, unions, enterprises, and representatives of central and local press agencies.

The Congress will summarize and evaluate the implementation results of the Resolution for the 2024-2029 term, determine the directions, goals, and action programs for the 2025-2030 term; at the same time, discuss and contribute ideas to the draft documents of the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026-2031 term and the draft Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; consult and elect the new Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Delegation to attend the National Congress.

The draft Political Report submitted to the Congress affirmed that, during the past term, the Fatherland Front at all levels has promoted its core role in building the great national unity bloc, actively participating in building the Party, government and political system.

The Fatherland Front at all levels has mobilized more than 133 billion VND for the "For the Poor" Fund, along with more than 390 billion VND and 750 tons of goods and necessities to support people in overcoming the consequences of Typhoon Yagi. Notably, as of October 22, 2025, the whole province has mobilized to support people affected by Typhoon No. 11 with a total amount of over 219.6 billion VND; the Provincial Red Cross Society received and coordinated 363 tons of goods and essential necessities.

In addition, the Fatherland Front at all levels also supported 9.1 billion VND to help other localities, such as Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang, Cao Bang, Quang Binh, Dien Bien, Nghe An, Son La... overcome natural disasters.

The movement to mobilize people to donate more than 450,000m² of land, 58,140 working days, and to build and repair over 19km of rural roads has practically contributed to the construction of new rural areas and civilized urban areas.

The Fatherland Front at all levels has proactively provided social feedback on 178 draft documents, contributed comments on 20 draft laws of the National Assembly, and organized 4,620 meetings with voters with more than 323,000 attendees, recording nearly 39,000 opinions and recommendations sent to competent authorities.

In organizational work, 100% of commune-level Fatherland Front officials and Heads of the Fatherland Front Work Committee have been trained in professional skills; 100% of the Standing Committees at district and commune levels are ranked as good or better. Notably, more than 80% of the Fatherland Front Work Committees have applied information technology and digital transformation in their operations.

The notable new point of this Congress is the strong application of digital transformation, the implementation of multi-platform communication work and the organization of a digital exhibition space to introduce the outstanding achievements of the Fatherland Front at all levels and its member organizations. The Congress also has a Thai Nguyen Tea cultural space, an OCOP booth and a space for Great National Unity, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, creativity and honoring local identity.

In the series of welcoming activities, the Organizing Committee will offer incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Provincial Memorial, install a signboard for the emulation project to welcome the Congress and organize a photo exhibition on "Uncle Ho with the ethnic people of Thai Nguyen province", activities with profound meaning, arousing pride and civic responsibility.
