On the morning of February 21, the People's Committee of Thai Thuy district held a conference to disseminate information on land management and use in the district.

In 2024, the district carried out land statistics and land use planning, implemented the adjustment of land use planning for the period 2021-2030; allocated and leased land to 7 units and organizations, with a total area of 10.4 hectares, and issued 1,849 land use right certificates for the first time; directed communes and towns to review land violations, develop plans and roadmaps to handle violations in accordance with Plan No. 47/KH-UBND, dated March 31, 2023 of the District People's Committee on strengthening the detection, prevention and handling of violations of the law in the field of land in the management area; organized land auctions in 8 communes and 1 land plot managed by the district, with 357 winning lots, the total auction amount was 558.8 billion VND. In site clearance work, the district focused on leading and directing departments, offices, specialized units and People's Committees of communes and towns to carry out site clearance for 31 projects.

At the conference, delegates focused on exchanging and discussing the results achieved; experiences as well as difficulties and obstacles in detecting, preventing and handling violations of land and construction order in communes and towns.

To implement the land management and use work in 2025, the district requires the People's Committees of communes and towns to prepare reports on reviewing land violations, settlement progress, and settlement plans in the coming time; assign specialized officials and civil servants to proactively grasp the situation, promptly detect, prevent, and promptly, strictly, and thoroughly handle land violations in accordance with the provisions of law; strictly implement Plan No. 47/KH-UBND, dated March 31, 2023 of the District People's Committee on strengthening the detection, prevention, and handling of violations of the law in the field of land in the management area; complete land auction work; remove difficulties, and focus on doing a good job of site clearance.
