Thanh Hoa is expected to receive more than 1,500 units of blood at the Red Journey in 2025.

The Provincial Red Cross Society and the Red Journey 2024 volunteers visited the heroic martyrs at Ham Rong Martyrs Cemetery.

The Provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation has just issued a plan to organize the 13th Red Journey program in 2025.

According to plan, the "Red Journey" program in Thanh Hoa will be launched from June 10 to July 20, with the peak period from July 1 to July 20.

The program launching ceremony and honoring outstanding voluntary blood donors will be held on the morning of July 17.

On the morning of July 18, a blood donation drive was held at the 25B Conference Center, Hac Thanh Ward. The program mobilized at least 2,000 volunteers, including officials, civil servants, employees, workers, youth union members, students, soldiers of the armed forces and volunteers to donate blood; expected to receive at least 1,500 units of blood.

Along with blood donation activities, the program will integrate direct propaganda and counseling for at least 1,500 people about voluntary blood donation and thalassemia.

Activities in the Red Journey program will contribute to raising awareness among all classes of people about voluntary blood donation; mobilizing healthy people to actively participate in voluntary blood donation, expanding the target group of voluntary blood donors, supporting the development of models, building a reserve blood donor force; connecting volunteers with voluntary blood donors, and at the same time, educating the younger generation about love, sharing and dedication to the community...
