Establishment of Tay Ninh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board after merger

Tay Ninh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board was established on the basis of merging Long An Provincial Economic Zone Management Board and Tay Ninh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha signed Decision No. 1475/QD-TTg dated July 3, 2025 to establish the Tay Ninh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board.

Tay Ninh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board was established on the basis of merging Long An Provincial Economic Zone Management Board and Tay Ninh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board.

Tay Ninh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board (Management Board) is an agency under the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province, performing the function of direct state management over economic zones (including border economic zones), industrial parks in Tay Ninh province; managing and organizing the implementation of the function of providing public administrative services and other support services related to investment, production and business activities for enterprises in economic zones (including border economic zones), industrial parks according to the provisions of law.

The Management Board has legal status, an account, a seal with the national emblem; state administrative management expenses, career operation expenses of the Management Board, development investment capital provided by the state budget according to the plan and other funding sources according to regulations of competent state agencies.

The Management Board performs duties and powers in accordance with current laws.

The Head of the Management Board shall submit to the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province specific regulations on the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Management Board in accordance with the provisions of law.

This Decision takes effect from July 3, 2025; repeals Decision No. 285/QD-TTg dated February 24, 2011 of the Prime Minister on the establishment of the Long An Provincial Economic Zone Management Board and Decision No. 200/QD-TTg dated February 11, 2011 of the Prime Minister on the establishment of the Tay Ninh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board.
