The Tay Ninh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board was established by merging the Long An Provincial Economic Zone Management Board and the Tay Ninh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha signed Decision No. 1475/QD-TTg dated July 3, 2025, establishing the Management Board of Tay Ninh Provincial Economic Zone.

The Tay Ninh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board was established by merging the Long An Provincial Economic Zone Management Board and the Tay Ninh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board.

The Tay Ninh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board (the Management Board) is an agency directly under the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee, performing the function of direct state management over economic zones (including border economic zones) and industrial parks in Tay Ninh province; managing and organizing the provision of public administrative services and other support services related to investment and production and business activities for enterprises in economic zones (including border economic zones) and industrial parks in accordance with the law.

The Management Board has legal personality, a bank account, and a seal bearing the national emblem; its administrative management budget, operational budget, and development investment capital are provided by the state budget according to plan and other funding sources as prescribed by competent state agencies.

The Management Board performs its duties and exercises its powers in accordance with current laws and regulations.

The Head of the Management Board shall submit to the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province regulations specifying the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Management Board in accordance with the law.

This decision takes effect from July 3, 2025; repealing Decision No. 285/QD-TTg dated February 24, 2011 of the Prime Minister on the establishment of the Long An Provincial Economic Zone Management Board and Decision No. 200/QD-TTg dated February 11, 2011 of the Prime Minister on the establishment of the Tay Ninh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board.
