Tuyen Quang City completes grassroots Party congresses before March 31, 2025

At the conference, delegates listened to the quick announcement of the 10th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee.

In the third quarter of 2024, the Tuyen Quang City Party Committee focused on leading and directing the effective implementation of socio-economic development targets and tasks, ensuring national defense and security, Party building and the political system.

The city's economy continues to grow, with some key indicators increasing significantly compared to the same period in 2023 (industrial production value increased by 5.6%, total retail sales of social goods increased by 5.5%, tourism revenue increased by 12.4%).

Urban planning, beautification, and infrastructure construction continue to receive attention. The cultural and social sectors are given comprehensive attention. Social security policies are fully and promptly implemented; proactive leadership and direction are taken in implementing measures to respond to and overcome the consequences caused by storm No. 3.

The City Party Committee has established sub-committees, standing units and working groups to serve and issue relevant documents to prepare for the 21st City Party Congress, term 2025-2030...

At the conference, delegates listened to reports on the Party's inspection, supervision and disciplinary enforcement work in the third quarter; directions and tasks for the fourth quarter of 2024; Plan No. 249-KH/TU dated October 4, 2024 of the City Party Committee to implement Directive No. 35-CT/TW dated June 14, 2024 of the Politburo on Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress; Outline of the Political Report of the 21st City Party Congress, term 2025-2030; Outline of the Review Report of the 20th City Party Committee, term 2020-2025; proposed themes, mottos and key tasks of the 21st City Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

According to the Plan: Party cell congresses under the grassroots party committees must be completed before March 31, 2025; grassroots party cell congresses and grassroots party committees must be completed before June 30, 2025; and the City Party Congress must be completed before August 31, 2025. The City Party Committee directs grassroots-level model congresses at two grassroots party committees: Tan Ha Ward Party Committee and the Provincial Boarding High School for Ethnic Minorities...

Concluding the conference, Secretary of the City Party Committee Ta Duc Tuyen requested that Party committees at all levels, authorities, agencies, units, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations must be more resolute, proactive and make more efforts in performing their tasks, including urgently focusing on calculating the damage caused by storm No. 3 to overcome, support and ensure that people and businesses soon stabilize their lives and restore production and business; review all remaining targets and tasks of 2024 and the entire term to have appropriate implementation solutions, ensuring the completion of the set targets and plans. In particular, focus on solutions to collect the budget, ensuring the completion of balanced revenue.

He requested that Party committees at all levels, agencies and units focus on doing a good job of preparing for the congress and ensure it is serious and effective in accordance with Party regulations and principles, on schedule and other important contents.
