Groundbreaking ceremony for the Chieng Khuong Primary - Secondary Boarding School.

Chieng Khuong border commune - where the Ma River flows through and the border gate with Laos, with more than 26 km of border. The commune has 33 villages, of which 9 villages are bordering the border with 5 ethnic groups: Thai, Kinh, Xinh Mun, Mong, Kho Mu living together. In recent years, the Party, State and local authorities have paid attention to investment, gradually improving the lives of people in the border areas. However, social infrastructure, especially educational infrastructure, has not yet met the development requirements, especially school facilities, boarding and semi-boarding areas. The construction of the Chieng Khuong Primary - Secondary Boarding School is of special importance, with the expectation of opening the door to knowledge and nurturing the dreams of thousands of children in the border areas. It demonstrates the special attention of the Party and State to education, especially students in the border areas of the Fatherland.

In Chieng Khuong commune, there are currently 6 schools from kindergarten to high school, with nearly 5,000 students. Chieng Khuong Primary - Secondary Boarding School is a school invested in under the school construction program for border communes. The project is built in Bua and Tan Lap villages, the central villages of Chieng Khuong commune, with a total construction area of nearly 5 hectares, including many modern items such as: classrooms, dormitories, dining area, playground, common living area, auxiliary items, ensuring spaciousness, modernity, environmental friendliness, meeting the teaching and learning requirements of nearly 1,000 students in the border area.

The project is invested by the Provincial Military Command, the Housing and Urban Development Investment Corporation, Ministry of National Defense is the construction unit. With the goal of striving to complete before July 30, 2026. Currently, the unit has focused on machinery, vehicles, and human resources to implement the project, ensuring "safety - quality - progress - efficiency - sustainability".

The completed project will be a highlight in the educational facilities of the border area, contributing to improving the quality of teaching and learning, creating a better learning environment for children of ethnic groups in the commune; helping them become citizens with knowledge, skills, patriotism and aspirations to rise up. At the same time, affirming the spirit of "Military - People with one will" joining hands to build the Fatherland's border stronger and stronger.
