Young generation thinks about Victory Day

Although not experiencing the sacred historical moment - the day of Southern Liberation and National Reunification (April 30, 1975), the young generation of Lao Cai today always looks back to the past with deep pride. That is also the motivation for the young generation of Lao Cai to continue to contribute to their homeland and country and continue writing the heroic history of the nation.

Together with the Commune Youth Union Executive Committee, he has organized many practical activities such as: building a model of electric lines to light up the countryside, building playgrounds for children, sports fields, protecting the environment, propagating the law to young people and supporting disadvantaged children to continue going to school...

In addition, Mr. Nam is also particularly interested in the activity of "remembering the source of water" - showing gratitude to those who have contributed to the revolution. "My fellow members and I have organized many activities to take care of the memorial stele of the heroic martyrs of Van Hoa commune; visited and presented gifts to wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, heroic Vietnamese mothers, and policy families in the area. Every time I meet and listen to the stories of the uncles and mothers, I am more deeply aware of the value of peace today, and more motivated to contribute more to my homeland" - Mr. Nam said.

With his efforts, Secretary of the Van Hoa Commune Youth Union Nguyen Van Nam was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union for his outstanding achievements in volunteer activities for the community; Lao Cai Provincial Youth Union awarded a Certificate of Merit for his outstanding achievements in youth union work and youth movements in 2022 and 2023; Lao Cai City awarded a Certificate of Merit for "Youth as masters of the country" in 2023...
