Specifically, Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 announced that in 2025 it will implement 6 admission methods (an increase of 1 method compared to 2024), including:

- Direct admission and priority admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training;

- Admission is based on the results of the high school graduation exam.

- Admission is based on high school academic results (transcript);

- Admission is based on the results of the aptitude test administered by Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City; Hanoi Pedagogical University; and Ho Chi Minh City Pedagogical University.

- Admission will be based on the results of the separate entrance examination organized by Hanoi Pedagogical University 2;

- Specialized teacher training programs such as Early Childhood Education , Physical Education, and Sports Management use the above methods, but their admission combinations include the results of aptitude tests organized by the school (not the results of aptitude tests organized by other higher education institutions).

Therefore, starting in 2025, Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 will organize its own entrance exam for university admissions.

Speaking to VietNamNet , a representative from the school said that the school is currently developing and finalizing a plan for organizing this exam. However, it will be an exam focused on assessing competence.
