The school's leading efforts in implementing Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW on fundamental and comprehensive reform of education and training are clearly demonstrated through strategic actions and concrete results in teacher training and development.

Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 awarded bachelor's degrees to graduates of the regular undergraduate program in 2023.

First and foremost, the school continuously improves its curriculum with five reviews, updates, and new training programs, ensuring modernity and alignment with the national qualifications framework and global educational trends.

At the same time, the school proactively met the requirements of the 2018 General Education Program by promptly opening new training programs such as: History and Geography Education, Natural Science Education, providing a source of quality teachers for integrated subjects.

Focusing on promoting integration, the school has signed strategic cooperation agreements with prestigious international education systems such as Vinschool and FPT School to adjust the curriculum and train teachers capable of teaching specialized subjects in English, meeting the human resource needs of international schools.

The commitment to local engagement is demonstrated through close coordination with provinces and cities nationwide to implement training and professional development programs to upgrade the qualifications of teachers and education administrators.

The year 2025 marks the 58th anniversary of the establishment and development of Hanoi Pedagogical University 2.

Besides the teacher training programs, the university has successfully developed bachelor's degree programs outside of teacher training, directly serving the socio-economic development of the northern region and the whole country.

Accordingly, the plan focuses on developing industries with high demand for human resources, concentrating on key sectors such as Information Technology, English Language, Chinese Language, and Vietnamese Studies. It also proactively opens new, highly applied fields of study, such as Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Psychology, and Sports Management, to provide high-quality labor for FDI enterprises in key provinces. Furthermore, it establishes cooperative relationships with over 50 large enterprises, creating a robust ecosystem that closely connects theoretical training with the practical requirements of employers.

The high graduate employment rate is clear evidence of the quality and reputation of the school.

Expanding the scale and improving the quality of postgraduate training.

Postgraduate training has always been considered a key task at Hanoi Pedagogical University 2, linked to the goal of improving the quality of human resources and meeting the requirements of educational reform.

At the master's level, the university focuses on two factors simultaneously: expanding scale and improving quality. Currently, the university offers 17 master's degree programs, including those in the educational sciences group, teacher training, and master's programs in basic sciences.

In order to improve the quality of training and link training with practical needs, the School continuously updates its training programs; at the same time, it develops a number of application-oriented training programs to meet practical requirements. From 2015 to the present, the School has awarded master's degrees to 3,072 students.

Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 is constantly expanding its scale and improving the quality of its postgraduate training.

Regarding doctoral training, Hanoi University of Education 2 is continuously expanding its scale and improving the quality of its educational management programs, while also continuing to focus on basic science disciplines. Currently, the university offers doctoral programs in six fields. From 2014 to the present, 50 doctoral candidates have been awarded their doctoral degrees.
