148 more foreign investors are granted securities trading codes

NDO - Vietnam Securities Depository (VSDC) said on February 7 that in January 2025, 148 more foreign investors were granted securities trading codes.

Specifically: In January 2025, the Vietnam Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation granted securities trading codes to 148 foreign investors and economic organizations with foreign investment owning over 50% of charter capital (15 organizations and 133 individuals).

In addition, the Vietnam Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation has approved information changes for 48 foreign investors (5 organizations and 43 individuals), and canceled securities trading codes for 3 foreign investors (1 organization and 2 individuals).

Thus, the current number of securities trading codes is 49,264 codes (6,091 organizations and 43,173 individuals).

Previously, according to statistics of the Vietnam Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation (VSDC), in the fourth quarter of 2024, VSDC granted securities trading codes to 596 foreign investors (90 organizations and 506 individuals).

Cancel securities trading codes for 12 foreign investors (9 organizations and 3 individuals).

The number of securities trading codes as of the fourth quarter of 2024 is 49,119 codes (6,077 organizations and 43,042 individuals).
