Missing 0.01 points should I retake the police academy exam?

I am torn between dropping out of the school I passed to retake the exam to enter the police or military school to have a job after graduation.

I am male. In this year's university entrance exam, I placed my first choice in the People's Security Academy but was 0.01 point short. Considering my other choices, I passed the Engineering major at Hanoi University of Industry. But after passing, I was wondering whether I should study or not.

I am most worried about job opportunities. If you study at a police or military school, you won't have to worry about finding a job after graduation.
