Children in Ho Chi Minh City have fun and receive gifts on the peak day for their juniors

Many activities were launched right after the launching ceremony on June 2. Among them, the activities for the juniors began with volunteers from many forces clearing, cleaning and planting trees at the Ho Chi Minh City Children's Palace project area in Thu Thiem urban area (Thu Duc City).

Let the children have a happy day

Tons of trash and weeds in the project area have been collected. A new row of trees has just been planted here, adding green space to the project and Ho Chi Minh City.

Le Nguyen Duc Anh (An Phu Primary School, Thu Duc City) - 1 of 50 children of workers and laborers in difficult circumstances - received gifts from the "For beloved juniors" festival.

Looking at the gifts, which included toys, candy, and milk, Duc Anh exclaimed: "There are so many gifts, we have to divide them up and save them." Duc Anh went with his group of friends. The group spread out to different areas of the festival, participated in science playgrounds, and even learned martial arts with the mobile police.

At Linh Trung Export Processing Zone (Thu Duc City), 50 gifts were given to the children of disadvantaged workers working there. Meanwhile, at the boarding house on Road 59 (Thao Dien Ward, Thu Duc City), a "Knowledge Tent" playground was held for workers' children, run by the Green Shirt Tutors team.

Fire prevention and fighting training, tree planting

Immediately after the launching ceremony, at Sadora apartment building (Thu Thiem ward, Thu Duc city), Vice Chairwoman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Tran Thi Dieu Thuy and Deputy Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union Truong Minh Tuoc Nguyen participated in the inauguration of the national flag street.

Green March soldiers of Ho Chi Minh City Police support fire prevention and fighting, rescue training for apartment residents with the most basic information and skills that everyone needs to know in case of fire or explosion.

The Green March soldiers instructed on how to use fire alarm and fire fighting systems and portable fire fighting equipment as well as how to escape in case of an incident in high-rise apartments.

During the series of activities on the launching day, young people in Ho Chi Minh City also planted thousands of new trees in many places in the city.

Releasing fish fry on Saigon River

Secretary of the Central Youth Union Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Vice Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Tran Thi Dieu Thuy, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union Ngo Minh Hai and volunteers participated in releasing fish fry in the Saigon River basin.

Thousands of fish fry were released, contributing to the regeneration and development of aquatic resources in the Saigon River. This activity also contributes to propaganda, raising awareness and responsibility of organizations and individuals to participate in protecting biodiversity and the environment.
