The 25th session of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee reviewed the results of supervision of the Standing Committee of the Thach Ha District Party Committee, the District Party Secretary and the Deputy District Party Secretary, and the Chairman of the Thach Ha District People's Committee; the Party Committee, the Party Secretary - Director of the Provincial Social Insurance Agency, and the Head of the Organization Department of the Hong Linh Town Party Committee.
On November 3rd, the 19th Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission held its 25th meeting. At this meeting, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission reviewed the results of its supervision of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, the District Party Secretary, and the Deputy District Party Secretary and Chairman of the Thach Ha District People's Committee (from the beginning of the 2020-2025 term to June 2023).
The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission noted that during the monitoring period, the Standing Committee of the Thach Ha District Party Committee and the individuals under supervision paid attention to leading and directing the state management of land; and implemented many solutions to rectify and overcome outstanding issues in land management and use in the district.
However, leadership and direction have not been truly decisive, and there are still some shortcomings and limitations in various fields; the implementation of some inspection and audit conclusions by competent authorities has been slow and not thorough; and the consideration and handling of individual responsibilities based on recommendations have been untimely.
The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission requested the District Party Committee's Standing Committee and relevant collectives and individuals to conduct a review to clarify responsibility for the shortcomings and weaknesses identified, promptly develop a plan to rectify them, and report the results to the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission.
The meeting also reviewed the results of the supervision of the Party Committee and the Party Committee Secretary, Director of the Provincial Social Insurance Agency, and a number of related collectives and individuals (period from 2021 to June 2023).
The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission noted that, alongside the fundamental achievements and strengths, the Provincial Social Insurance Party Committee and the supervised organizations and individuals still have some limitations and shortcomings in the development and implementation of working regulations and the declaration of assets and income. In leadership, direction, and implementation of legal regulations regarding health insurance contracts and the assessment of health insurance medical expenses, some aspects are still incomplete and lack rigor.
The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission requests that the Party Committee and the Party Secretary/Director of the Provincial Social Insurance Agency build upon their strengths, promptly lead and direct the review and lessons learned process, rectify the shortcomings and weaknesses that have been identified, and report the results to the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission.
Comrade Ha Van Trong presided over and concluded the meeting.
Also during the session, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee considered and disciplined Comrade Le Van Binh - Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Organization Department of Hong Linh Town Party Committee.
As a Party member holding a leadership and management position, Comrade Le Van Binh lacked exemplary conduct and violated regulations on population policy and family planning by having a third child. Comrade Le Van Binh's violation has negatively impacted the reputation of the Party organization and himself.
The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission decided to discipline Comrade Le Van Binh with a reprimand.
Also at this meeting, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee discussed and agreed on several other important issues within its jurisdiction.
