On the afternoon of October 29, the drivers left the stuck area at Dak Zon Bridge and were moving towards Da Nang. According to driver Chu Van Thuong (from Hung Yen), he was stuck at Dak Zon Bridge, Lo Xo Pass area since October 26. After three days of being stuck, at 11:00 p.m. on October 28, he and many other drivers moved from Dak Zon Bridge to the Ho Chi Minh Trail, passing through Kham Duc Town (Kham Duc Commune, Da Nang City).

However, this area also suffered from landslides, so drivers had to stop and wait for the road to be cleared. Currently, about 30 vehicles are lined up at a safe location, waiting for authorities to fix the problem so they can continue their journey. This is a residential area with shops and restaurants, so there is no need to worry about landslides.

“Remembering the scene of being stuck at Dak Zon bridge for 3 days, sleeping at night with fear of landslides. On the first day stuck at the bridge, my stomach was growling with hunger, luckily the rescue team brought food in time. Traffic police officers, local leaders, and the Lo Xo Pass SOS team crossed the landslide to deliver supplies, visit, and encourage. It was cold, I was shivering in the car, but they still came all the way. Thank you Vietnamese people for your spirit of helping those in need, helping those in need,” Mr. Thuong said emotionally.
