Diners were surprised to be served pho by beauty queen H'Hen Niê on 'Pho Day'.

The highlight of the 'Pho Day' festival was the opportunity for attendees to discover and enjoy the flavors of pho from nearly 30 brands nationwide. Notably, Miss H'Hen Niê even surprised guests by serving pho right on the spot.

On the morning of December 13th, at the former Tax Department Store area in Saigon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, the series of events for Pho Day 2025, organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper, attracted a large number of domestic and international tourists, as well as artists and celebrities.

Miss H'Hen Niê: "When I go abroad, I often search for the keyword 'pho' online."

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Tran Xuan Toan, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre Newspaper, said: "This year 's Pho Day features the participation of 30 pho brands from all over the country and overseas Vietnamese from Australia, South Korea, etc. Interestingly, pho is now the subject of a film, and people can interact with the actors right at this year's festival. Through this, we want to prove that wherever there are Vietnamese people, there is a pho restaurant, or when you think of Vietnam, remember pho - Think Vietnam, remember pho."

Radiant at Pho Day 2025 , Miss H'Hen Niê shared: "When I travel abroad, I often search online for the keyword 'pho' and almost always find Vietnamese restaurants. In Switzerland, I discovered a pho restaurant opened by a Thai person. Or in Austria, H'Hen was surprised to see a pho restaurant opened by a Chinese person. These examples show that pho has not only followed Vietnamese people to the world but has also been adopted and commercialized by other nations, affirming the appeal and strong potential for this dish to spread."

The program also includes an exhibition area on the Story of Pho and the Journey of Pho Day 12.12 , where visitors can learn more about the history, culture, diversity of pho, and the journey of Pho Day 12.12 over the past decade. Alongside this is a talk show: Pho - Then, Now, and Tomorrow and Promoting Vietnamese Cuisine to the World, with lots of interesting information about Vietnamese pho.
