This morning (December 12th), at the National Defense Training Ground of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) in Ho Chi Minh City, more than 2,000 lecturers, students, and workers participated in the "Run for the Community" program on the Uprace 2025 platform.

The event was attended by Mr. Dang Ngoc Tung, former Central Committee member of the Communist Party of Vietnam, former President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor , Vice President of the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, and member of the Board of Directors of Ton Duc Thang University. Miss H'Hen Niê, actress Kha Ngan, and other ambassadors of the program were present, joining in the warm-up and running with more than 2,000 athletes.
The total kilometers run by over 2,000 athletes will be recorded on the Uprace app and converted into contributions to the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund.
Mr. Dang Ngoc Tung affirmed that this is a meaningful event, not only creating motivation for students to practice sports and stay healthy to build, develop, and protect the Fatherland, but also especially to awaken the spirit of sharing and mutual support among learners.

According to Vo Hoang Duy, Vice Rector of Ton Duc Thang University, the participation of over 2,000 students, lecturers, staff, and workers in today's run not only demonstrates the scale of the event but also serves as vivid evidence of solidarity, social responsibility, and a desire to contribute. Through each step, the university collectively supports the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, empowering underprivileged, academically gifted ethnic minority students.
"Together, today's runs will become learning opportunities and a bright future for tomorrow's young generation," said Dr. Duy.
Running demonstrates responsibility towards the community.
At this morning's program, Ton Duc Thang University awarded 30 scholarships to students severely affected by the recent natural disaster, each worth 10 million VND, totaling 300 million VND. These scholarships will provide students with renewed strength, confidence, and motivation to overcome difficulties, focus on their studies, and pursue their dreams.

The Uprace 2025 Community Run program contributes to the realization of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3): "Ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all ages."
Miss H'Hen Niê (Miss Universe Vietnam 2017, ambassador of the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund) shared her impression of the positive energy that the students brought to the program. She also expressed her love for the spacious, green, clean, and beautiful environment and modern facilities of the school. Miss H'Hen Niê believes that through this community running activity, students are encouraged to develop an active lifestyle, proactively taking care of their physical and mental health. This is also an opportunity for young people to demonstrate their responsibility to the community, spreading the spirit of sharing and service.
