The Standing Committee of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity held its regular meeting in June.

On June 6th, Comrade Nguyen Duc Thanh, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negative Phenomena (hereinafter referred to as the Steering Committee), chaired a meeting to assess the Steering Committee's activities in May and determine key tasks for June 2023. Also in attendance was Comrade Pham Van Hau, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

At the meeting, after hearing the report from the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department on the activities of the Steering Committee and the province's anti-corruption and anti-negative practices work in May and some key tasks for June, the Provincial Party Secretary highly appreciated the achievements; pointed out existing shortcomings and limitations; and requested the Provincial Steering Committee to continue monitoring, directing, and effectively implementing the assigned tasks; to conduct inspections on the implementation of socio -economic inspection conclusions and handle outstanding issues from 2021 and earlier. He also requested continued leadership and direction in handling corruption and negative practices cases under the Steering Committee's supervision and direction; and to expedite the resolution of cases and incidents included in the plan.

Directing several district Party committees and Party branches to select sectors and fields to conduct self-inspections and audits to detect and promptly handle acts of corruption and negativity within their agencies and units. Organizing research and promptly implementing measures to overcome difficulties and obstacles in the work of appraisal and evaluation serving the resolution of cases and incidents under the Steering Committee's supervision and direction; improving the quality and effectiveness of appraisal, asset valuation, and judicial support for litigation activities in the province in the coming period.
