Standing Committee of Bac Kan Provincial People's Council held the May meeting (expanded)

At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council Committees reported the preliminary results of the examination of the Draft Resolutions submitted at the 28th Session (special session) of the 10th Provincial People's Council. Draft Resolution on approving the content of the Nam Cat Lake Eco-tourism Area Zoning Plan; Draft Resolution on adjusting the local budget estimate and allocating the provincial budget in 2025 (2nd time). Draft Resolution on allocating and assigning the budget estimate for the implementation of the National Target Program on socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in 2025.

Report on the draft Resolution on adjusting the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025 using local budget capital (16th time). Report on the draft Resolution on adjusting the public investment plan for 2025 using local budget capital (2nd time). Report on the review of the Report on the draft Resolution on the list of land plots for bidding to select investors to implement investment projects using land in Bac Kan province (3rd time). Report on the review of the Report on the draft Resolution approving the policy of changing the purpose of forest use to other purposes to implement works and projects (supplementary) in 2025 in Bac Kan province.

The meeting also approved the expected content to be submitted to the 28th Session (Special Session) of the 10th Provincial People's Council. Accordingly, the Session will be held on the afternoon of May 8, 2025 and is expected to pass 07 special resolutions.

Concluding the meeting, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Phuong Thi Thanh pointed out: Based on the appraisal reports of the Provincial People's Council Committees, it is necessary to clarify the reasons why the construction of 3 community tourism sites... cannot be implemented. The resolution on allocating the budget for the implementation of the National Target Program on socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas requests that after the Provincial People's Council approves, the Provincial People's Committee immediately allocates capital for implementation. The Provincial People's Committee carefully considers the contents and focuses on directing the implementation. The contents of the draft resolution submission ensure compliance with regulations./.
