Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee works with Provincial Party Committee Inspection Committee

This morning, March 1, Party Central Committee member, Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Le Quang Tung and Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang chaired the working session of the Provincial Party Standing Committee with the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee (PC) on key tasks in 2024. Over the past year, Party committees, Party organizations and Inspection Commissions at all levels in the province have proactively deployed and implemented quite synchronously and comprehensively all aspects of inspection, supervision (KT, GS) and industry development. The leadership, direction and guidance in performing tasks have been strengthened by Party committees, Party organizations and Inspection Commissions at all levels; they have performed well the tasks of KT, GS and enforcing Party discipline.

In 2023, Party committees and Party cells at all levels disciplined 3 Party organizations by reprimanding and disciplined 330 Party members; Inspection Commissions at all levels disciplined 1 Party organization by reprimanding and disciplined 58 Party members. Party committees, Party organizations and Inspection Commissions at all levels received, processed and resolved many complaints, denunciations, recommendations and reflections.

Regulations on asset and income control have been implemented seriously and effectively. Over the past year, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission has supervised the implementation of regulations on asset and income declaration for 17 party members who are cadres under the management of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee; the district-level Inspection Commission has deployed and supervised 44 party members. Party committees, party organizations, and Inspection Commissions at all levels in the province continue to pay attention to, consolidate, and build the staff; proactively review, arrange, assign, and assign appropriate tasks to cadres; effectively carry out training and fostering; continue to promote propaganda work on economic and social activities, etc.

To improve the effectiveness of task performance, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission has planned and requested Party committees, Party organizations, Inspection Commissions at all levels, especially leaders, to continue to raise awareness and responsibility in inspection work; Party committees at all levels regularly pay attention to and periodically work with the Inspection Commission to promptly direct and orient the inspection and supervision work of the Inspection Commission; Inspection Commissions at all levels actively advise Party committees to develop and implement the inspection and supervision work program for 2024 and promote the comprehensive implementation of tasks according to the provisions of the Party Charter...

Other important tasks are to further enhance the role of the higher-level Inspection Committee in directing, guiding, supervising and supervising the Party Committees, Party organizations and lower-level Inspection Committees in handling serious, complicated cases that are likely to lead to violations; and to carry out disciplinary enforcement work in a fair, objective manner, in accordance with principles, processes and procedures.

At the meeting, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission requested the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to issue a policy on organizing a 10-year review of the implementation of the regulations of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee on coordination between the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission and relevant party organizations and agencies; pay attention to leading and directing the rotation of Party inspection officials; remove obstacles in the work of receiving, processing and resolving petitions; agree on the policy and arrange funds for the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission to visit and work with the Inspection and Supervision Board of Savannakhet province (Laos); consider and arrange funds for the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission to purchase a number of working vehicles and equipment...

Speaking at the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang highly appreciated the efforts of Party committees, Party organizations and Inspection Commissions at all levels in the past year.

In particular, the tasks that need to be focused on are: Reviewing the content, synthesizing data to prepare for consulting on the construction of a summary report on economic and supervisory work, preparing for the construction of political reports for party congresses at all levels and the 18th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030; continuing to pay attention to economic and supervisory work, and implementing Party discipline, in which it is necessary to ensure strict implementation and handling of discipline, without leniency or exceptions; developing and implementing coordination regulations to improve work efficiency...
