Billionaire Musk sued over $1 million reward

Two voters in the US states of Texas and Michigan have sued billionaire Elon Musk and his political action committee America PAC for fraud, according to Bloomberg.

Before the US presidential election, the billionaire offered $1 million a day to anyone who signed his petition supporting free speech and the right to bear arms. The winner was chosen “at random” from the petition signers.

But according to testimony from America PAC treasurers in court, winners were chosen based on their personal stories and had to sign contracts to be spokespeople for the committee supporting Donald Trump. The plaintiffs are seeking an undisclosed amount and asking America PAC to delete their data. The defendants have not commented.
