On September 16, 2024, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 989/QD-TTg approving the election results for the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province for the 2021-2026 term for Mr. Le Ngoc Chau, Deputy Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. The Decision takes effect from September 16, 2024.

In April 2022, comrade Le Ngoc Chau was awarded the rank of Major General by the President.

From March 2022 to August 2024, Major General Le Ngoc Chau will hold the position of Member of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Party Secretary, Commander of the Mobile Police Command, Ministry of Public Security.
