On the morning of November 4, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, on behalf of the Politburo, General Secretary To Lam, Secretary of the Central Military Commission, presented the Politburo's decisions on personnel work.

Attending the conference were Mr. Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat; Politburo members, Party Central Committee Secretaries: Le Minh Hung, Head of the Central Organization Committee; Phan Dinh Trac, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee; Nguyen Trong Nghia, Member of the Central Military Commission Standing Committee; Party Central Committee Secretaries: General Trinh Van Quyet, Member of the Central Military Commission Standing Committee, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; Le Minh Tri, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court; representatives of the Central Military Commission, the Supreme People's Court , and Central Party agencies.

At the Conference, Mr. Hoang Dang Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, announced the Politburo 's decisions, including: The Politburo decided that General Trinh Van Quyet, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission Standing Committee, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, ceased to participate in the Central Military Commission, the Central Military Commission Standing Committee; transferred, assigned, and appointed to the position of Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission.

The Politburo decided to transfer, assign, and appoint Mr. Le Minh Tri, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Party Committee Secretary, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Internal Affairs Commission.

On behalf of the Politburo, General Secretary To Lam presented the decision to Mr. Trinh Van Quyet and Mr. Le Minh Tri.

Congratulating the comrades who were entrusted by the Politburo with new tasks, the General Secretary stated that, in the past time, with great political determination, the whole country has basically and comprehensively completed the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus in the political system; successfully completed the Congress of Party Committees directly under the Central Committee and is currently actively preparing the conditions to successfully organize the 14th National Congress of the Party.

To prepare a step for personnel work, based on the standards, conditions and work requirements of agencies and units in particular and the entire political system in general, the Politburo has carefully considered, ensuring stability, succession and development of the Party's senior leadership team.

The comrades who have just been assigned and mobilized have all been trained through practice, are exemplary cadres in terms of political qualities, ethics, lifestyle, capacity, prestige, specialized training and relatively suitable work process and experience.

You also have achievements, results and products in your field of work, meeting the standards, conditions and requirements of the positions as prescribed.

The General Secretary emphasized that Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia and Mr. Trinh Van Quyet are both leaders and commanders, have received basic training and have held many different positions and positions, have a lot of experience in leadership, direction and command, and have made many contributions to the common cause of central agencies and the army.

During the past time, you have also actively worked with the Politburo and Secretariat to direct the successful implementation of the country's political, economic and social tasks and made important contributions to bringing our country into a new stage of development.

I believe that with many years of experience in Party and political work in the Army, you comrades will continue to promote your capacity and create achievements in propaganda and mass mobilization work in the coming time.

Mr. Le Minh Tri is also an experienced cadre in advising on leadership and directing the work of law protection. In his position as Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, he and the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court proactively and promptly led, directed, and proposed the construction of a model of People's Courts at all levels suitable for two-level local governments, ensuring that the activities of the Court system are continuous, effective, without interruption of work, and without omission of tasks.

He needs to continue to promote the achieved work results, quickly grasp new work, and well implement the tasks of the Central Internal Affairs Commission.

The General Secretary suggested that in the immediate future, cadres together with the agency's leadership focus on advising the Central Committee to prepare well the conditions for the successful organization of the 14th National Congress of the Party.

The General Secretary requested leaders, cadres and Party members in the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, the Central Internal Affairs Commission and Party agencies to continue to support, coordinate and assist the new leaders of the agencies to excellently complete their tasks.

On behalf of the newly appointed officials, Mr. Trinh Van Quyet expressed his honor to be trusted by the Politburo and the Secretariat with this great responsibility.

He emphasized that propaganda and mass mobilization work, and internal affairs work are all aspects of work aimed at the common goal of building a clean and strong Party and political system, consolidating the great national unity bloc, and being determined to build and develop the country quickly and sustainably, with people living in prosperity and happiness.

Mr. Trinh Van Quyet affirmed that each individual is fully aware of their responsibilities in the new task, will proactively and actively innovate propaganda work, create unity in awareness and action in the whole society; build an honest and clean judiciary; and promote the great national unity bloc.

Each individual must constantly train his/her political qualities, set an example in action, and together with the agency perform well the assigned tasks, while coordinating well with relevant agencies, contributing to building a strong Party and building a truly socialist Vietnamese State of the people, by the people and for the people.
