Total outstanding policy debt in Dong Giang reached more than 380 billion VND

(QNO) - On the afternoon of June 27, the Board of Directors of the Social Policy Bank of Dong Giang district organized an assessment of the performance results of the first 6 months of 2025.

As of June 25, the total outstanding policy credit balance in Dong Giang district reached more than 380 billion VND (an increase of more than 49 billion VND compared to the beginning of the year) with 5,367 households still having outstanding debt.

Loan turnover in the first 6 months of the year reached over 78.2 billion VND with 462 customers borrowing capital. Thereby, creating jobs for 150 workers; building 114 clean water and rural environmental sanitation projects.

Most of the households that borrowed capital have made good use of capital for economic development and used it for the right purposes; however, the quality of operations of the savings and loan groups is still low; outstanding interest debt is still high (VND 333 million)...

It is known that Dong Giang has 122 savings and loan groups, of which 121 are classified as good and 1 is classified as fair.
