On January 2, Quang Ninh province held a conference to summarize emulation and reward work in 2024, deploy tasks in 2025; launch a special emulation movement to welcome party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party and disseminate and implement Resolution No. 31-NQ/TU, dated December 2, 2024 of the Provincial Party Committee. Comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee attended and delivered a speech at the conference. Also attending were comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.

In 2024, in the context of many difficulties and challenges, but with the positive spirit of responding to President Ho Chi Minh's teaching "The more difficult it is, the more we must compete, competing is patriotism, patriotism requires competition. And those who compete are the most patriotic"; Quang Ninh province is unanimous and determined to maintain stability, promote the tradition of solidarity, "Discipline - Unity"; uphold the spirit of competition with the goal of "Improving the quality of economic growth; developing culture, people rich in Quang Ninh identity"; striving to break through, rebuild the economy at lightning speed; affirming the mettle and will of the entire political system, army and people of the heroic mining region.

The patriotic emulation movements of Quang Ninh province were deployed with specific contents and criteria, closely following the political tasks and in line with the practical situation of the province. The system of documents regulating emulation and rewards was promptly completed; the apparatus for emulation and rewards at all levels was consolidated and improved... The reward work was given due attention, timely and had the effect of setting an example, the rate of direct workers being rewarded was raised. The unexpected reward work was also carried out promptly, contributing to encouraging and setting an example for advanced models, good people and good deeds.

Authorized bythe President , Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, awarded the Second and Third Class Labor Medals of the President to 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in their work, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.

The results of emulation movements and commendation work have actively contributed to the successful completion of socio-economic development goals and tasks, maintaining political security and ensuring social order and safety of the province.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Vu Dai Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the outstanding efforts of Party committees, Party organizations, authorities at all levels, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; all levels, sectors, armed forces, cadres, Party members, civil servants and public employees from the province to the grassroots; the joint efforts and consensus of all classes of people and the business community in the province in the past year 2024.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that 2025 was identified by the Central Committee as the year of acceleration, breakthrough, and reaching the finish line; the final year, of special importance to complete the goals and targets set out in the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025, creating a solid foundation for Quang Ninh and the whole country to enter a new era - the era of national growth. The task is extremely heavy in the context of many intertwined difficulties and challenges.

Authorized by the Prime Minister, Comrade Trinh Thi Minh Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, awarded the Emulation Flag to 8 collectives that excellently completed all tasks, leading the patriotic emulation movement of the province.

To complete the tasks in 2025 and the entire period of 2020-2025, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the whole province to closely follow Resolution No. 31-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Committee on the direction and tasks in 2025 with 19 targets, 6 groups of tasks, key solutions and the working theme of the year is "Breakthrough in economic development, creating momentum for the new term" to focus on implementation efforts. In particular, focusing on creating breakthroughs in economic development; renewing traditional growth drivers, promoting and creating breakthroughs for new growth drivers, determined to surpass the economic growth milestone set for 2025. Promoting the effective implementation of three strategic breakthroughs. Closely combining rapid and sustainable economic development with cultural and human development, building a culture rich in Quang Ninh identity; improving the material and spiritual life and health of the people. Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management in all fields; strictly manage and use natural resources economically and effectively. Maintain political stability, order, social security, and national border sovereignty. Continue to promote the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system to be clean and strong in all aspects of politics, ideology, ethics, organization, and personnel.

The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized that in order to comprehensively implement the set goals and targets, the effective implementation of emulation movements will create a new competitive spirit, spiritual motivation, and great combined resources among the people to join hands and overcome all difficulties and challenges, determined to comprehensively complete the set goals and tasks. The Provincial Party Secretary also noted that in the emulation movement at each level and sector, it is necessary to identify the focus, key points, practicality, effectiveness, and associated with the assigned political tasks, especially important, breakthrough, and urgent contents. Mobilize all resources, exploit and promote effectively potentials and advantages for rapid and sustainable economic development associated with the development of Quang Ninh culture and people. Promote emulation movements in the fields of national defense, security, foreign affairs, promote combined strength, maintain a peaceful, friendly, stable, cooperative border area; improve the effectiveness of foreign affairs activities, proactively and actively integrate into the international community, ensure political and social stability for socio-economic development.

He also requested to continue to carry out well the emulation movements launched by the Central and the province. Each agency, unit, and locality selects and implements the construction of at least 01 typical advanced model or 1 practical project to welcome in order to create a vibrant emulation atmosphere in agencies, units, localities and between agencies, units, and localities in the whole province.

Also at the conference, many units, organizations and individuals with outstanding achievements in emulation movements were awarded the Second and Third Class Labor Medals by the President; Emulation Flags and Certificates of Merit by the Prime Minister.
