Việt NamViệt Nam13/12/2024

In a televised address to the nation on the morning of December 12, South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol said that sending troops to parliament during martial law could not constitute an act of rebellion, while accusing the opposition of obstructing the government with impeachment efforts and budget cuts planned for next year.
The leader said he used his presidential power to declare martial law to protect the nation and normalize state affairs against the opposition, which he accused of paralyzing the government, calling it a "well-considered political judgment." "Whether I am impeached or investigated, I will face it fairly. I will fight to the end," Yonhap quoted Yoon as saying. Tổng thống Hàn Quốc quyết 'chiến đấu đến cùng'- Ảnh 2.

Mr. Yoon apologized for causing surprise and inconvenience to the people with the martial law declaration, but denied the opposition's accusations against him. He also said the opposition had been trying to oust him all this time and abused the impeachment process. Regarding his instructions, Mr. Yoon said he had ordered the Ministry of National Defense to inspect the National Election Commission's election system.
South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol's statement that sending troops to the National Assembly during martial law cannot be considered an act of rebellion may have many important implications in the current political and social context of South Korea. The statement suggests that the President is trying to assert the authority of the government and the military in the face of possible political conflict or social unrest. This may be aimed at ensuring that the government will maintain order and stability during difficult times. In the context of regional tensions or security threats, deploying troops may be seen as a necessary measure to protect national security and maintain order. This statement may reflect an emergency situation that the government feels the need to take strong control of. The declaration of determination to fight to the end also suggests that the government has no intention of backing down in the face of pressure or protests./.
