Secretary-General Antonio Guterres affirmed that the United Nations will continue to be a reliable partner accompanying Vietnam in the country's development process, and hopes to meet President To Lam soon to further promote the good cooperative relationship between the United Nations and Vietnam. Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro Moros, on behalf of the Venezuelan people, sent warm congratulations to President To Lam, reaffirming the commitment to continue deepening the brotherly relationship between the two countries at the highest level, in all areas of cooperation. Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a congratulatory letter to President To Lam. Emir of the State of Qatar Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani and Deputy Emir of the State of Qatar Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Thani sent congratulatory messages to President To Lam. President of Nicaragua Daniel Ortega Saavedra and Vice President of Nicaragua Rosario Murillo sent congratulatory messages to President To Lam. On the occasion of Mr. To Lam's election as President and Mr. Tran Thanh Man as President of the National Assembly, President of Italy Sergio Mattarella and President of the Italian Senate Ignazio La Russa sent congratulatory letters.
