The application of modern technology can help accurately assess the ability of each athlete. Through the assessment, the coaching board can come up with more suitable and effective training plans. In addition, the selection time is also shortened, while ensuring objectivity and fairness in the assessment of athletes.

"Application of AI is a process that requires a deep understanding of sports expertise and a systematic and effective transformation process. Ho Chi Minh City has identified this as one of the top factors that need to be improved. Therefore, since the beginning of 2025, Ho Chi Minh City has organized a specialized training session to supplement knowledge about AI for coaches and athletes. Thereby, helping to firmly grasp the effective use of AI tools to optimize the training process" - Mr. Nguyen Nam Nhan said.

In addition, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City has also signed a cooperation agreement with the Institute of Sports Science and Technology.
