HCMC: Opening ceremony of national defense knowledge training

On August 13, at the Ho Chi Minh City Academy of Officials, the Ho Chi Minh City Council for National Defense and Security Education opened a training course on national defense and security knowledge for dignitaries, religious officials, cultural, social, scientific activists, and reporters, course 26 - 2024.

During the 4 days, more than 120 trainees will be disseminated knowledge about the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State on national defense and security, combining socio-economic development and foreign affairs activities with strengthening national defense and security, building political and spiritual potential in defensive operations, raising awareness and capacity for the subjects, thereby continuing to effectively propagate in the organization, implementing the two strategic tasks of building and protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Bui Thi Ngoc Trang - Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Academy of Officials - acknowledged the positive contributions of dignitaries, officials, monks, and heads of religious organizations in the city in recent times, which have greatly contributed to the construction of Ho Chi Minh City, ensuring increasingly strong socio-economic and national defense and security, creating the trust of the people and followers of religions in the leadership and management role of the state and the construction of Ho Chi Minh City to become more modern and humane.
