Speaking at the opening ceremony, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Manh Cuong emphasized that 2025 is a year with many important political events for our country and people. In particular, for journalists, 2025 is the year to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.
The exhibition is an activity to pay tribute and honor the great contributions of the Vietnamese revolutionary press over a century of accompanying the nation.

The exhibition takes place at 4 central locations: Dong Khoi Street (in front of the headquarters of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City), Dong Khoi Street (opposite Chi Lang Park), Ho Chi Minh City Opera House, and Lam Son Park.
With 100 displayed images, the exhibition introduces President Ho Chi Minh - the founder of Vietnam's revolutionary press; the history of Vietnam's revolutionary press, Ho Chi Minh City's press since the day of the Liberation of the South, the reunification of the country...

In addition, the exhibition also introduces the imprints from the first newspaper pages, the journey of innovation and development of Ho Chi Minh City press, the City press joining hands for the community, for national security, social order and the attention of Ho Chi Minh City leaders for the press.
In addition, the exhibition also has photo topics "Ho Chi Minh City Press 50 years accompanying the city in building and developing", "Proud of 100 years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press", "Ho Chi Minh City Press Award - Honoring good values".

The Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee affirmed that with a sense of responsibility and enthusiasm, the team of journalists in Ho Chi Minh City constantly strives to create many high-quality journalistic works, closely following reality, with high topicality, meeting the increasing needs of the public, demonstrated through the results of the Ho Chi Minh City Journalism Awards held annually with many award-winning works.
