HCMC: Review and adjust HCMC planning after merger

The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee assigned the Institute for City Development Studies to coordinate with relevant agencies to advise on the construction of items and contents that need to be established or adjusted in the Ho Chi Minh City planning.

Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Loc Ha has just signed a document to the Department of Finance, the City Development Research Institute and related units, conveying the opinion of the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee on reviewing and adjusting the planning of Ho Chi Minh City after the rearrangement.

Accordingly, the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee assigned the Institute for City Development Studies to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to advise on the construction of items and contents that need to be established or adjusted in the planning of Ho Chi Minh City after the reorganization. At the same time, estimate the cost of establishing and adjusting the planning based on the items and contents of establishing or adjusting the planning; complete and submit to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee before August 26.

The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to advise on the completion of the Ho Chi Minh City Planning Project Management Board for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050, by adding the task of being the agency to prepare and adjust the City's planning; send it to the Department of Home Affairs for appraisal and submit it to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, to be completed before August 26.

After the Government issued a Resolution on solutions to continue implementing planning work associated with administrative unit arrangement during the time the Law on Planning (amended) has not been issued, the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to preside over and coordinate with the Institute for Development Studies and relevant agencies to advise and complete the Plan to organize the establishment and adjustment of the planning of Ho Chi Minh City after the arrangement.
